Fans spent almost the entire night at the airport to catch a glimpse of Messi. Finally, around four in the morning, Messi's plane touched the ground of Doha. The fans of India and Argentina erupted in cheers.

 Thousands of spectators showed up at the airport to welcome the Argentina team even in the early morning. Most of them were Indians. Argentina fans who had already arrived in Qatar were also present at the airport
